The phrase "
portrait photography" often conjures up images of stiff poses, forced smiles and dated mottled backcloths. Photography shoots with Sally Marie, however, do not involve you standing in front of a camera and being told to smile! We'll usually ask you to sit down with the photographer for a chat before your
portrait shoot over a relaxing mug of tea or coffee. This helps to get you relaxed and used to the studio environment, and also gives us the opportunity to learn about your characters and personalities, so that we can convey your uniqueness in your
portrait photographs!
We want you to have fun and enjoy your day, as we know from experience that that's what gives the most natural, spontaneous, and above all memorable results!
Portrait photography studio sessions for couples usually last around an hour (
lifestyle shoots will last longer), during which time a variety of images in a range of poses will be taken in order to give you a good selection to choose from. Feel free to bring a change of outfits or any other item you would like to include in the photographs.
