Children's portraits
are a beautiful way to document your child's growth and development and show off your gorgeous little one. Professional
children and baby portraits are one of the most popular and highly cherished types of
portrait photography.
There are number of things you can do to make sure your child's portrait session gives the best possible result.
For very young children and babies, try to avoid booking the photography session at a time when they are due for a feed, a change or a nap. It is best to disturb their normal routine as little as possible.
A favourite toy or comfort blanket is often invaluable, particularly if your young one is wary in unfamiliar surroundings, so consider bringing along a teddy, ball or game, for example. Bright colours are good if the toy is going to be included in your child's photograph.
It's best that Mum or Dad stays close by to reassure the child, however more confident children are often quite happy to show off when they think parents aren't watching! We'll work with you to achieve the best results for your child photography or baby phototography.
That said, however, do try to avoid telling your child to smile or attempting to force them to do so... it just won't work!
